We met in 2020 just after lockdown — a true Bumble success story! It was during the time of ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ (thanks, COVID), so we ended up going on plenty of cheap dates. Our relationship got off to a wonderful start, filled with lovely meals, fun nights out, and simply enjoying being young and in love.

We celebrated our first year together & started planning our future. Adele moved into Ryan’s mum’s house while we saved to buy our first home. We continued to make memories together & we went on our first holiday to Gran Canaria.

This was a pretty big year! We bought our first home where we spent 2 very happy years. We also went on our first Ski holiday where Ryan tried his hand at being a ski instructor. We had a few more trips away to Dublin & Portugal.

The year we got engaged!! Our 4th year together was certainly one to remember. We welcomed home our first pet, Bertie. Went on another Ski holiday but this time with our friends & I opted to let the professionals teach me how to ski.

And then….. Lake Como. Ryan organised a trip of a lifetime. We spent the first day exploring, and then on the second night Ryan proposed. We arrived at the villa which was completely empty, we walked down to the waters edge where the Jasmine Gazebo stood covered in fairy lights and flowers, then Ryan got down on one knee. It was the easiest yes. We spent the rest of the evening drinking champagne & watching the sun set over the lake.

Year 5 we celebrated. We celebrated watching people we love get married & get engaged. We celebrated buying our second home. We celebrated that in our next year it would be our turn to say ‘I do’.
